It's the 3 months of constant nagchatter that kills me. And I quote:
"Mom? Can I light stuff on fire?"Back to School Silence is BLISS.
"Mom? Is George Washington still alive?"
"Mom? Can you just cut my hair a little longer?"
"Mom? Do bears really eat poorage?"
"Mom? If I hit Shiney right now, can I still have my ice cream?"
"Mom? Will a pink eraser take nail polish off the carpet?"
"Mom? Did Old McDonalds have a french fry?"
"Mom? When is my popcorn tree going to grow? Cuz it's been a long time since I planted my popcorn seeds."
"Mom? Was my head this big when I was born?"
"Mom? Did we used to live in an apartment or in a condom?"
"Mom? Will the toaster roast my marshmallows? Cuz they're not popping back up."
"Mom? If we pretend to be good, can we invite our friends over?"
"Mom?" *in tears* "Was my fish stick REALLY Nemo?" *big brother laughs*

LOL. I liked can I light things on fire. Nice phot montage.
And those quotes are a HUGE reason why I want kids. While silence must be nice, adults just can't think of questions like those. ;) You gotta love it!
AMEN! missing the activities, not so much the "nag-chatter" as you called it. PERFECT description!
i love the quotes-hillarious.
AND i love the photo of you on the slip n slide. what a FUN MOM!
I loved the whole thing. I'm so glad you have the quote preserved for posterity, i.e. the kids when they get older. I miss you guys so much. xoxo
Hahaha. Hilarious! (Thought I definitely cringed-- a LOT-- at the nail polish question!)
I wish I knew how to make this fun collages - cannot figure it out.
As your got rid of the a million and one questions a day, I have taken them on times 140. Awesome.

Glad you had a good summer. I love "can I hit Shiney and still have a friend over". I will be giggling all day.
